The «Spartak» stadium was presented at the workshop by «Arena-2018»

«Spartak» stadium representatives took part in the Reporting Workshop for the 2018 World Cup.

Participating in the Workshop were ANO Russia- 2018 Organizing Committee, ANO Arena-2018, foreign consulting architects, architects and engineers involved in stadiums construction in St. Petersburg, Sochi, Kazan, Saransk and managers of «Dynamo» Stadium.

Andrei Kozyrev, Director for Sport Facilities Construction, and Fedor Shapoval, Commercial Director, represented the «Spartak» Stadium at the Reporting Workshop.

«Spartak» Stadium will be very happy to host the 2018 World Cup, and we take all possible effort to comply with all its requirements. Today one could get every proof of this. We hope for even more close cooperation with all the participants of the Workshop in the future for the success of such a great event as the World Cup in Russia», – said Andrei Kozyrev, Director for Construction of the «Spartak» Stadium.

In the framework of the Workshop representatives of the stadiums got consultations from world experts on FIFA requirements to the World Cup host stadiums. In particular, Carlos de la Corte, Head of Brazilian Arena noted: «Such meetings are of exceptional importance for organizing Word Cup matches. Architects and designers of stadiums must work in close cooperation with the Organizing Committee in order to take into consideration all FIFA’s requirements and create the World Cup legacy that will last for many years. I’m happy to be here today and ready to share Brazilian experience of preparation for the tournament».

Commissioning of the «Spartak» stadium is planned for the beginning of 2014.
